Ms Jalan is Managing Partner and India Head for Advent International. She has over 21 years of experience in Private Equity. She joined Advent in 2009. Before joining Advent, Ms. Jalan worked with ICICI Venture, the largest private equity firm in India. Ms. Jalan had spent a year with the corporate finance division of Ernst & Young. Ms. Jalan is also a Director on Board of Directors of various Companies some of them being Advent India PE Advisors Private Limited, Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited, Modenik Lifestyle Private Limited (formerly known as Dixcy Textiles Private Limited), Manjushree Technopack Limited, ZCL Chemicals Limited and QuEST Global Services Pte Ltd. Ms. Jalan has experience in sourcing and negotiating transactions and has worked across a wide range of sectors including industrial, media, business services to IT/BPO. She also offers her counsel on managing investments and planning successful exits, viz. sale to strategic buyers and the listing of companies.

Jayesh is a qualified CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a qualified company secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and has a law degree and bachelor of commerce degree from Mumbai University. Jayesh retired from Asian Paints Limited in November, 2019 after a long stint of 17 years. He was the Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary, Compliance Officer, and President of Industrial Joint Ventures. Prior Asian Paints, he has worked in leadership roles in finance, legal, company secretarial and general management in the manufacturing and service industries namely, Castrol (India) Ltd, Ion Exchange (India) Ltd and UTV Ltd. During his career span of 37 years, Jayesh specialized in corporate governance and compliances, working capital and treasury management, M&A, IPR with a strong background on accounting, tax, legal and cost controls. He was named Business world’s ‘Best CFO in the Sustained Wealth Creation’ category in 2012 & 2017. He currently serves as an independent director and chairman of the audit committee in Manjushree Technopack Limited and Bharat Serums and Vaccines Ltd (BSV).

Ashok Sudan currently serves as Chairman (non-executive) of Manjushree Technopack Ltd and has been an Independent Director on the Board since 2019. He has over 45 years of international experience in the packaging industry including 33 years at Graham Packaging, one of the leading global rigid plastic packaging companies. In addition to his role at Manjushree, he currently serves as a Director of Paris based, SGD Pharma and as a member of the Strategic Advisory Committee and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Ynsect, a leader in the insect ingredient alternative food market.  Ashok has a mechanical engineering degree from IIT Kanpur, a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA and an MBA from Indiana University, Bloomington IN, USA. He has also completed an Executive Course in Strategy from the Harvard Business School.

Mr. Patwari is a Chartered Accountant by training and he holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (Lucknow). As Managing Director – Advent India PE Advisors Private Limited, Mr. Pankaj Patwari has been managing Advent’s investments in Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited from 2014 apart from Manjushree Technopack Limited, QuEST Global and Bharat Serums and Vaccines Ltd. He also serves of the Board of Directors of various many other Companies notably Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited, Manjushree Technopack Limited, ZCL Chemicals Limited and Gokaldas Intimatewear Private Limited. Previously, Mr. Patwari had spent six years with Bain Capital working on several transactions in the pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. Prior to his stint at Bain, Mr. Patwari spent four years with McKinsey & Co., focusing primarily on financial services.

Thimmaiah NP leads Manjushree Technopack’s businesses and takes responsibility of the operations and management of MTL’s manufacturing units across India. Mr. Thimmaiah joined Manjushree Technopack in 2022. Prior to joining Manjushree, he was the head of Meritor in India and VP Australia. He was instrumental in transforming Meritor into world-class company in terms of culture, manufacturing & performance. Prior to Meritor, Thimmaiah was Managing Director at Honeywell Turbo & Honeywell Transportation System, Pune. He has over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, with 15 years as manufacturing and operations leader and 10 years as overall business leader at Indian companies, joint ventures & multinational organizations. He is motivated by a strong sense of achievement stemming from his ability to develop and execute strategic plans for the company’s future. He is a proven people manager who combines an Indian upbringing with a deep understanding of what works effectively in multinational corporations.
