Climate Strategy
We have initiated Rainwater Harvesting and recharging projects at our units, in which rainfall is gathered and used for ground water recharge purpose. Rainwater from natural or manmade catchment areas, such as rooftops or artificially repaired impervious/semi-pervious land surfaces, is collected and stored during the process using specially engineered systems. A farm pond with the potential to collect 50 million litres of rainwater annually was established and is being maintained by Pantnagar Unit. Currently, we have the ability to divert 60 million litres of rainfall for ground water replenishment.

Recycling and Circular Economy
We prioritize recycling practices to minimize waste and promote a circular economy. We have implemented robust recycling systems, optimized material recovery, and collaborated with partners for effective recycling solutions. Manjushree Born Again has partnered with waste collection agencies to collect Post Consumed Plastic Waste for us. We have currently reached our target of collecting Post Consumed Plastic Waste up to 6000 MT. We have state of art facility for reprocessing and recycling of Post Consumed Plastic waste to convert into virgin equivalent of high-quality PCR resins. We have in-house capability to utilize Post Consumed Recycled Resin to manufacture high-quality plastic products. We are closely collaborating our efforts with our customers to ensure recyclability and PCR to fulfill requirements under Plastic Waste Management Rules 2022
